Leni Steele might be looking for love, but she’s definitely not looking to be someone’s fake date. Especially not one of the most infuriatingly handsome and annoyingly cocky actors on the planet, Duncan Raz. But when the owner of the PR firm for which she works forces her to walk the red carpet on his arm, she has no choice. Neither wants to be there, much less with each other. They’re like oil and water, and he gets on her last nerve. But after a few tequila shots, that’s not all he gets on. What was supposed to be one date turns into a media frenzy they can’t afford to ignore, and Leni has no other option than to continue the ruse. All the fake kisses furtive glances, and seductive touches eventually start to feel very real. But Raz didn’t earn his A-list-actor status for nothing. Is he just doing what he does best? Playing a role? Or is Leni the leading lady in Raz’s real-life love story?
Regular visitors to my blog know how much of a fan I am of Foster’s work. Every book of her I have read resonated with me, and Wild Island Love was no different. I have written so many reviews for work, that I am practically running out of words to say right now. What more can I say, that I have not already said? If you are a lover of contemporary romance and have never picked up any of her books, you are missing out on a lot
Foster creates a world where family and friendship play a pivotal role. Her characters will win you over and the romance will warm your heart while burning up the pages. Wild Island delivered the same effect. It was fun seeing workaholic Leni Steele, the woman who swore she would never again risk her heart again, fall hopelessly in love with A list Actor Duncan Raznik.
The paparazzi have been hounding Duncan since his recent breakup. To stop the paparazzi from hounding him, his Public Relations representative arranged for Leni to be his fake date for a charity event. Leni wasn’t keen on the idea, but for the sake of the business she agrees. However, the fake relationship slowly became so much more.
The chemistry between them was off the charts. It amused me to see them trying to ignore their growing feelings for each other. Their many attempts at ignoring the fact that what they shared went beyond a fake arrangement. The lines between fake and reality got blurred the more time they spend together. The situation, grew more complex with the involvement of their families. All saw how much they both cared for each other. Leni, however, did not believe Duncan’s feelings were real, after all he’s an actor and their interactions were supposed to be an act.
The Steele family was a riot. Readers familiar with the series know of their propensity for pranks. Pranks that will leave you holding your sides from laughter. Of course, Duncan got his share of pranking. He knew how to hold his own though, and gave as good as he got, making him a perfect fit for the family.
Fun, exciting, sexy and heart-warming, Wild Island Love will captivate readers’ hearts with its compelling writing, authentic romance and wonderful characters.
