A new game of danger and desire is beginning. Ready or not…
When a mysterious invitation draws Genevieve Grimm to a palace in Italy, she expects magic and secrets, maybe even a ball.
She doesn’t expect the owner’s handsome son to slam the door in her face.
Rowin Silver is tall and dark and exceptionally rude. Invitation or no, he tells her to leave and never come back.
But Genevieve has never followed orders, especially from arrogant rich boys. She slips inside… and immediately realises her mistake.
Rowin and his family are caught in a deadly game. There can be only one winner. The others are dragged away to Hell… until the contest begins again.
Now Genevieve must join the hunt. And her only hope of survival is an alliance with Rowin. Even worse, to work together they must convince the others they’re in love.
As they race through a labyrinth of gold and marble, their instant loathing turns to irresistible attraction. Can Genevieve evade Rowin’s ruthless family, uncover the devilish secrets of the game and end it forever?
Packed with deadly intrigue and spicy romance, Enchantra will transport you to a world of feisty heroines and morally gray love interests, fake dating, forbidden desire and family secrets. If you love books by Rebecca Yarros, Carissa Broadbent and Lauren Roberts, prepare to discover your new romantasy obsession.

Enchantra is the second book on Kaylie Smith’s Wicked Games series. Wow! What a sequel? After my experience with Phantasma I had high hopes for Enchantra, and she did not disappoint.

Enchantra follows Genevieve Grimm the younger sister of the heroine from Phantasma. In this installment Genevieve intercepts an invitation meant for mother. Unfortunately, her mother died and so she decides to take up the invitation. This decision led her to Tuscany, Italy. On her arrival she got caught up in a deadly game of hide and seek in an enchanted mansion. A game which led to a marriage of convenience and one where survival is not guaranteed.

I had lots of fun with this one. The characters despite their dysfunctionalities made the story a treat. The heroine and the hero made a perfect match. It took me sometime to warm up to Genevieve, but when I finally did, I enjoyed her role. Feisty, argumentative and brave, poor Rowin didn’t know what hit him.

Their romance was intense. They both had baggage. Geneive needed to stay alive at all costs and Rowin had ensure her safety. These issues served as a barrier to their attraction, but not for long.

Rowin’s siblings added a little more zing the situation. Getting to know the family will leave you with the desire to be a part of them, dysfunctionalities and all.

Enchantra is a solid addition to the Wicked Games series, and I look forward to the next book.
